One of crypto news this week is the suspension of trading or delisting of 33 crypto assets in Bittime starting Monday, January 13 2025, at 22.00 WIB. It also includes automatic cancellation of all transactions Open Limit Order for the 33rd asset.

Apart from that, “Auto Earn” feature for crypto assets CATS will also be stopped by the system automatically. However, you don't need to worry because all affected assets remain safe at Bittime and can be withdrawn at any time.

Weekly Crypto News: US Inflation Rises  

This week's crypto news is next The US Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that inflation in the US, as measured by Consumer Price Index (CPI), rising by 2.9% on an annual basis in December 2024. 

This figure was in line with market expectations and showed an increase from 2.7% in the previous month. On a monthly basis, CPI rose 0.4%, slightly higher than the 0.3% increase in November. 

Increase in US inflation rate This raises expectations that the Federal Reserve will continue its policy of lowering interest rates this year.

Last, this week's crypto news is supervision of crypto asset trading in Indonesia, previously by the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (Bappebti), has now been transferred to Financial Services Authority (OJK) And Bank Indonesia (BI). 

Previously, supervision is under the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (Bappebti) of the Ministry of Trade.

Signing Handover Minutes (BAST) And Memorandum of Understanding (NK) took place on Friday, January 10 2025, at the Ministry of Trade Office and was attended by high-ranking officials from Bappebti, OJK, and BI.
