On August 8, 2024, Canto Chain officially announced that their network was experiencing consensus issues.

Canto Chain's technical team has planned a system upgrade which will be carried out today at 12:00 UTC+7. This system upgrade is expected to overcome consensus problems and allow the network to return to normal operations.

Canto Chain officials confirmed that all user funds are safe and not affected by this technical problem. Canto Chain also ensures that once the upgrade is complete, all activity on the network will be accessible as usual. 

So, Canto Chain users don't need to worry about the security of their assets and can continue transactions and interactions with the network after the upgrade process is complete.
