Wave Airdrop Distribution: 20% WAV Tokens Distributed at TGE March 31st

Bittime - Wave will distribute their native token, WAV, via an airdrop program. As much as 20% of the total WAV tokens allocated for the airdrop will be distributed at the Token Generation Event (TGE) on March 31 2025.

This airdrop aims to increase adoption of the Wave ecosystem which is an innovative platform that combines GameFi, DeFi and AI-based trading on the Sui and MOVE networks.

WAV token distribution will be carried out in stages. Following are the details:

Users who have a verified CEX UID: Will receive their first 20% of WAV tokens directly in their CEX accounts before 10:00 UTC on March 31, 2025. These tokens can be traded immediately when WAV is listed.

Users without a CEX UID: Will receive the first 20% WAV tokens via Wave Dashboard or Wave Mini App at 10:15 UTC, March 31, 2025.

Users with successful appeals: Will receive tokens at the same time via Wave Dashboard or Wave Mini App.

Pre-sale winners: Will receive their initial distribution via Wave Dashboard at 10:15 UTC, March 31, 2025.

The remaining 80% of the allocated WAV tokens will be distributed gradually over a period of four months after the TGE.

WAV Token Distribution Details

The distribution of WAV tokens is carried out based on a vesting system which aims to ensure price stability and prevent excessive selling pressure. Following are the allocation details:

• 20% of the total airdrop allocation will be released at TGE on March 31, 2025.

• the remaining 80% will be locked and released gradually over the next four months.

Each user can see the total allocation, the number of tokens that have been claimed, and the token release schedule on the Wave Dashboard. This system was created to make distribution more transparent and help manage the supply of tokens in the market.

How to Claim Airdrop Wave

For those of you who meet the requirements to get the airdrop, here are the steps to claim WAV tokens via the Wave Dashboard:

1. Access Wave Dashboard: Log in to the Wave platform via the Wave Dashboard.

2. Connect Sui Wallet: Click "Connect Wallet" and select Sui Wallet which has imported the seed phrase from Wave Wallet. If you don't have Sui Wallet, you can download it first.

3. Wallet Verification: Once connected, sign the request to verify your wallet address.

4. Navigate to Claim Page: After successful verification, go to the "Claim" page on the dashboard.

5. Eligibility Check: If you meet the requirements, the "Airdrop Season 1" tab will appear with details of the number of tokens that can be claimed.

6. Claim Process: Click the "Claim" button when the token is available and sign the transaction to complete the claim process.

7. Transfer to CEX: After a successful claim, users can transfer their WAV tokens to Wave-affiliated CEX centralized exchanges for trading.
