HBO Claims Peter Todd as Satoshi Nakamoto, But Denied!

Bittime - HBO has released a documentary about Satoshi Nakamoto, the mysterious figure behind the largest crypto asset, Bitcoin.
In the documentary entitled Money Power: The Mystery of Bitcoin, directed by Cullen Hoback claims that Peter Todd, the Canadian core developer of Bitcoin, is Satoshi Nakamoto. Read this article to find out more!

To uncover Satoshi Nakamoto's true identity, Producer Cullen Hoback, connects various pieces of information and evidence to conclude that Peter Todd is the creator of Bitcoin.
Hoback linked Todd to Satoshi Nakamoto because of a conversation log that Todd had written. Todd claim himself as "the world's leading expert on sacrificing Bitcoin" and added that he "had made one sacrifice once and did it manually".
Hoback interpreted this statement as an admission that Todd had permanently removed his access to 1.1 million Bitcoins, which were worth approximately 69.4 billion, and were believed to belong to Satoshi Nakamoto.
Apart from that, Todd often says the phrase "I am Satoshi Nakamoto". However, there is no valid evidence that actually states that Peter Todd is Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin.

Peter Todd Denies Satoshi Nakamoto Documentary Claim
However, Peter Todd immediately denied it and said that he was not Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin,
Todd said that the phrase "I am Satoshi Nakamoto" was a form of his support for the privacy of Bitcoin's original creator. He emphasized that whoever is behind the name Satoshi Nakamoto has the right to maintain his anonymity.
Todd has also revealed that he first bought Bitcoin when it was only around 20 cents in October 2010, two years after whitepaper Bitcoin was published on October 31, 2008.
This confession indicates that Todd entered the world of Bitcoin long after this crypto asset was created, which indirectly raises doubts about Satoshi Nakamoto's documentary.
The Mystery of Satoshi Nakamoto Remains Unsolved
Until now, Satoshi Nakamoto's real identity is still a mystery. Many speculations and theories have emerged regarding who the real creator of Bitcoin is, but no one has succeeded in providing valid evidence.
Although the HBO documentary attempts to dig deeper, the claim that Peter Todd is Satoshi Nakamoto only seems to add to the already long list of conspiracy theories.
