When the crypto market went down today, more of $400 million in crypto assets liquidated in the last 24 hours. A total of 170 thousand traders were affected, with the largest liquidation order reaching $8.21 million on Binance.
Long positions worth $330 million and short positions worth $70 million were liquidated. BTC, ETH, DOGE, SOL, and XRP were the assets most affected.
In the last hour alone, $55 million in crypto assets were liquidated, further worsening today's market situation.

Stronger-than-expected US jobs data is one of the causes of the crypto market down today. This shows that the US economy is still quite strong, which raises concerns about inflation.
President-elect Donald Trump will reportedly impose higher inflation rates, adding pressure to markets.
Meanwhile, the Federal Reserve is expected to delay further interest rate cuts this year, as confirmed by Wall Street.
The US dollar index (DXY) rose above 110, its highest level since 2022, while the 10-year bond yield hit 4.8%, its highest since October 2023. This combination put enormous pressure on the price of Bitcoin and other crypto assets.
