All Hamster Kombat Coins Cannot Be Claimed at Listing

Bittime - Telegram-based crypto game Hamster Kombat is preparing to launch its token on Thursday, September 26. However, there is a surprise for the players.

However, players were surprised by a fairly sudden announcement before the distribution of HMSTR tokens. The Hamster Kombat team announced that players will not be able to claim all of their HMSTR tokens at once on day one. 

As much as 88.75% of the token allocation can be claimed immediately, while the remaining 11.25% will be vested for 10 months until July 2025.

This announcement came as a surprise to many players, considering that these details had not previously been communicated. Additionally, some players also complained about factors influencing token allocation, such as the considerable emphasis on friend referrals and key collection.

Hamster Kombat also revealed that of the 300 million players who have tried the game, only around 129 million are eligible for the airdrop. Initially, 131 million players passed, but about 2.3 million of them were later "banned for cheating."

Of the total 100 billion HMSTR tokens, 60 billion will be distributed in this airdrop, while another 15 billion is reserved for the upcoming Season 2. Before the next full season begins, Hamster Kombat has launched a simpler "interlude season".
