Layer 2 Becomes the Best Performing Sector, SAGA and TIA Tokens Lead!

Bittime - According to data from SoSoValue, the Layer 2 sector recorded an increase of 16.02% in 24 hours, and was the best performing sector. The increase was triggered by the price increase of several tokens in the Layer 2 ecosystem, such as SAGA, TIA, and A8.

SAGA tokens experienced the highest increase. In fact, it rose 35.57%, which put SAGA at the top of the list of tokens with the best performance in the Layer 2 sector.

Based on Bittime market today, the SAGA token has increased 19.12% in the last 24 hours. When this article was written, the SAGA token was trading at IDR 18,295 or $1.15.

Celestia (TIA) also rose by 27.17%. This high price increase shows the great potential that Celestia has in developing more efficient and decentralized Layer 2 solutions.

Optimism experienced a significant increase of 21.68% in the last 24 hours. With a current price of $1,437, Optimism continues to attract the attention of the crypto community thanks to the scalability and efficiency it offers in transactions on the Ethereum network.

Meanwhile, Taiko recorded a price increase of 21.51%. The price of the Taiko token currently stands at $1.9066. The project is gaining increasing recognition for its approach to providing a more decentralized and user-friendly Layer 2 solution.

Consistent Increase in Layer 2 Sectors

Apart from the 5 main tokens mentioned, several other tokens also showed significant increases in the last 24 hours. Stacks (STX) recorded an increase of 20.80% at its current price of $1.562, while BLAST saw an increase of 20.07% and is currently trading at $0.01.

Merlin Chain (MERL) and zkSync (ZK) experienced an increase of 19.43% and 19.25% respectively. This increase shows the growing interest in projects offering Layer 2 solutions, which are considered one of the best ways to increase scalability and efficiency in major blockchain networks such as Ethereum.

Meanwhile, Dymension (DYM) price also rose by 19.20% in the last 24 hours. DYM's price is currently at $1.37, adding to the ranks of tokens in the Layer 2 sector that show great potential in the development of blockchain technology.
