MVL Launches TADA Mini, Online Taxi Using TON Token

Bittime - Mobility Vehicle Lab (MVL), a blockchain-based travel platform, is launching a new online taxi service, TADA mini, next month. This service integrates directly into the Telegram application so users do not need to install additional applications.

Payment Using TON Token

One of the interesting features of this service is support for payments using TON tokens, a crypto asset developed by Telegram. Users do not need to register for other payment methods, such as credit cards or additional e-wallets. 

Simply by using TON Coin, transactions can be done quickly and safely. With this integration, MVL hopes to attract Telegram users to join as customers and increase their own adoption of MVL tokens.

TADA Service by MVL

Since launching in Singapore in 2018, MVL has expanded its taxi hailing (TADA) service to several countries in Southeast Asia such as Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. 

In Singapore, the number of TADA service users has reached more than 2 million. With the launch of TADA mini, MVL hopes to expand its influence in the global mobility market, especially to reach the huge number of Telegram users.

Expansion Plans to Korea and Japan

MVL also has plans to expand TADA services to Korea and Japan. In Japan, MVL has established a company and is in talks with the local government regarding launching the service. 

In Korea, MVL plans to launch a taxi hailing service in the first half of next year. CEO Woo Kyung-sik stated that the company will try to enter the domestic market with a strategy of acquisition and merger with local mobility platforms or through a franchise model.

MVL plans to maintain its 'zero commission' policy, which is a strategy to differentiate itself from large platforms such as Grab which take a commission of around 30% from drivers' fares as well as software usage fees.
