OKX Delisting $SLN Token, Here’s Response by Smart Layer!

Bittime - Previously, OKX announced that it will delist the $SLN token. The Smart Layer project also issued an official statement regarding this matter. Read this article to find out the full news!

OKX Delisting Token $SLN 

OKX announced that they will be delisting several tokens, including $SLN, from their platform. This delisting not only had a negative impact on the price of the $SLN token, which fell by more than 20% in a short period of time, but also caused disappointment among the Smart Layer community.

Smart Layer also expressed its disappointment with OKX's decision. They stated that before the listing in February this year, managers at OKX had promised a global listing, with the exception of only China and a few European countries. 

However, after listing, OKX restricted the pairing of $SLN tokens in almost all major countries and major markets, which made it impossible for the Smart Layer community to actually purchase this token. Smart Layer has attempted to contact OKX repeatedly, but received no response.

Smart Layer Still Has 10 Exchange Partners

Despite the disappointment, Smart Layer emphasized that they remain committed to developing the ecosystem and providing rewards to $SLN holders. This project also does not plan to reorganize or issue new tokens.

Smart Layer CEO also emphasized that they still have more than 10 strong exchange partners. Smart Layer is optimistic that the increasing momentum of the crypto and altcoin markets will bring benefits to their token holders.

Token Delisting Affects Token Prices

Apart from $SLN, OKX also removed several other tokens such as MSN, OMN, REP, EURT, IGU, and PCI. This news is live influence price of these tokens. For example, the MSN token fell by more than 30%.  

Meanwhile, Smart Layer not only wants to see this delisting as a challenge, but also as an opportunity to strengthen their strategy and explore new opportunities in the ever-growing crypto market.
