What is veTHE Token?
veTHE (vote-escrowed THE) is a locked version of the $THE token that takes the form of an ERC-721 standard NFT.
Users can lock their $THE tokens for a maximum of 2 years to receive veTHE, and the longer the lock duration, the greater the voting power gained.
The main functions of veTHE include:
Access Platform Earnings: veTHE owners are entitled to 90% of the total transaction fees on the platform as well as 100% of voting incentives provided by other protocols.
Governance Participation: veTHE is used to select gauge—namely a liquidity pool that will receive weekly $THE distributions.
Flexibility: veTHE can be combined, split, and even traded on the secondary market.
With a maximum anti-dilution rebase system of 30% per week, veTHE encourages continuous participation from stakeholders.
